HOW TO WRITE YOUR BOOK
From an Idea to
 YOUR PUBLISHED STORY

Take an Interactive Writing Workbook that takes you, the writer, on a fantastic journey from an idea… to your Published Story.  You will be accompanied on your journey by Three Writing Guides: a writer, editor and publisher.  These wise guides will alert you to important information, provide you with writing tips and generally steer you in the right writing direction. Your journey begins at the beginning; getting organized and ready to write.  You will then proceed to learning how to get your story down on paper. You’ll find tips and instructional forms to helping you through the pit falls and detours and to keep you on the right road to a finished story.  Once you have a finished story you’ll learn about editing, revising and preparing for the next process; marketing.  You’ll receive tips on different ways to market your book and ideas for what to do next.

If you want to finally: write that book,  finish that story, take that manuscript out of the drawer and see your story in print.  This book can help you be wowed by your writing abilities.

Why do you want to write?”

The following list was compiled from a questionnaire used in a writer’s workshop that asked writers of various ages, occupations and lifestyles: Their answers may help you gain more insight into your own reasons for writing.

I Want To Write Because:

-- I have a passion for reading good literature and writing gives me an opportunity to see my ideas come alive on the page

-- I find writing helps me to express my inner feelings about life and the world around me

-- I have a story I feel needs to be told and I am strongly motivated to write

-- Writing is my life.  I find it therapeutic

-- I believe everyone has a story to tell and I’d like to write my story

-- I would like to become a published author.  Not so much for fame or fortune (though that would be nice), but to share my knowledge and experiences with others

-- I want to become a published author for the money and fame

-- Writing is a creative activity I enjoy

-- Writing well is an asset in my career. Companies today are looking for applicants that have good communication skills. Writing skills top the list.

Mom, said that the Greetings on Gold card I gave her this Mother's Day was the nicest card she had ever received. Thank You

Darlene, Wenatchee, WA
Q. How do I clean the Gold Metal?
Roger, Fargo, ND

A.
Use windex, a damp cloth or even furniture polish. The polymer coating will protect the metal.
My bother actually mounted the Greetings on Gold card in a special $125. Ornate Frame. It looks absolutely incredible!

Marcey, Dallas, TX
Awesome Card!  Great Price!
Great Sentiment Poetry!
Looks Fantastic In A Frame!

Mark, Orange County, CA
I really loved the Aquarius card that my boyfriend gave me for my birthday. The verse accurately describes  my personality.

Joanne, Fort Myers, FL
It is about time that a greeting card company made specific African American greeting cards. I was tired of white faces on the cards that I sent.

Rosemary, Birmingham, AL
Q. Are all components of your frameable greeting cards recyclable?
Morgan, Little Rock, AK

A. Yes, the stock paper card, goldtone aluminum metal plate, and even the envelope are all 100% recyclable. We aim to do our small part to protect the enviroment.
Q. How can I get a "sunset" front panel instead of the "ornate" panel?
Beatrice, Trenton, NJ

A. Gently twist the metal plate left & right until it breaks free, then glue it to the other panel. Remove the remaining two-way tape by rubbing it with your fingers.
Q. I purchased your "Dad" teddy bear card, and loved the look, but I wasn't terribly happy with the teddy bear picture. What can I do?
Theresa, Elmsford, NY

A. Sorry! The graphics are all being completely redesigned on the teddy bear line, and a new card is being sent to you immediately, at no charge.
